Experimenting with aperture and shutter settings, again. This is in the walk-in closet, with light from the anteroom to the bathroom (3 x 12W twisty fluroescent bubs). 

It's either Curly yawning, or an angry mutant squirrel.

Look at those pupils!  That's the clue as to how low the lighting was. Big aperture, slow shutter, tripod.

So KEWL. Using CHDK Allbest, which is a completely-reversible firmware hack to many Canon point-n-shoot cameras, and the script, "Ultra Intervalometer," I was able to set the camera to continually shoot at an interval I set, and at a shutter speed I chose. 

One simply has to go here, and follow the links in that article to get instructions on installing the firmware for your Canon camera.

This is gonna be fun, putting this through its paces!

10-Cent Prints, Again

Those capitalist pigs at Walgreens are giving away the store, again. If you use their online Photo Center, you can upload and manage your photos, and get a heck of a deal on prints that you can pick up from their nearest location. Or, you can have them printed at another location for friends or relatives to pick up (prepaid, or pay-in-store). It's a hell of a lot cheaper than you can print them at home, that's for sure.

That code is good for up to five uses per customer, between now and 4/18.

Accounting for the fact that people in general notoriously lie about how involved they are in politics, I would still expect to see at least 100,000 teabaggers on state capitol grounds on April 15th.

I'll be there, with cameras, to document the reality.
