Hold It Together

... for Mao Mao (above, being given water by Ivy's daughter). She's seizing tonight, and the vet has prescribed Valium for her. Let's hold a good thought, and send it Mao Mao's way.

UPDATE: After the round of seizures she had at 10:30 last night, I called the 24 hour vet who said it would be okay to give her the valium a bit early. She had another couple small seizures at 5:30, so we gave her the valium again (at 7 hours.) She's sleeping comfortably now but if she has any more, we're going to have to call the vet again.

VERY SAD UPDATE: I had to make the decision to put Mao Mao to sleep this afternoon. She had more seizures and then was totally unresponsive and was struggling to breathe. :( Rest in Peace, little Mao Mao. We will see you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
