Yes! The iPhone cameras aren't the best, but they take GREAT low-light shots! That shot of LarryElvis was done with an iPhone, for example, and you see all the details. This LG camera struggles, blurring all detail to badly-compressed JPEG territory (inside the ear; almost the whole left side... just smudges of color!).
Kickstarter. Seriously, if some guy can get thousands for making potato salad... You could offer pawtographed photos of Curly enjoying his catio as a reward!

Sadly, I'm disappointed in the LG G2's camera. In less-than-full light, I think it sucks pretty heinously. The HTC would have taken this photo better.
I've noticed my iphone camera takes better pics in low light than good light. Weird.

He's good about alerting to other critters, generally.
