Intimidated by a stuffed bird. Man, it doesn't get any better than this. .

I had an Abbycat who was terrified of my niece's Cabbage Patch doll. Entered the living room normally relaxed, became aware of the doll perched on the back of the couch, froze into a crouch, then step by wary step came somewhat closer, ready to flee if necessary.
Hysterical--and a bit sad that she was so frightened.
Oddly enough, he has actually played with the bird a little -- it's a new arrival; a gift from a very nice lady in KCMO. He's just generally wary of it, for some reason... maybe it's the electronic bird call, but that's bizarre, too, since I can whistle, and he wants to go out on the balcony to "home in" on birds.
My whistling is nowhere near as good as this bird call, I guarantee it! .
