Speaking of sweeping with animals, there's a commercial where a man uses a Pomeranian as a broom. Don't remember what it was advertising, but 'twas funny all the same.
So is Curly pro- or anti-vacuum? Cody hates it with a passion, for some reason. I don't think cats are as freaked out by them as dogs, and I've even seen a few cats who like being vacuumed...
Are your comments at Eschaton true? Are you getting a dumpster-cat? We rescued a kitty, a tiny thing about 6-8 weeks old per the vet, who was literaaly stuck in the drainpipe of the dumpster at my wife's work. had to cut her out with saws. That was about Halloween. She's a great cat. Dumpster kitties are the best.
Mooser -- Well, the kitty is a stray, but didn't seem to be, a few weeks ago. It was so friendly and well-fed, I'd assumed it belonged to one of the condo dwellers. However, the few times I've seen it recently, it's very skittish, and won't let me come near.
I can't promise it a home -- it will depend on its state of health, as I don't want to expose Curly to anything fatal.

Sweet Charlotte -- No problem -- I have w00+ here, y'know! :)
Curly's firmly anti-vacuum (and anything else that makes that much noise for an extended period of time).
