More Outdoor Curly

He's caught the scent of something in the breeze.

Right after this, Curly jumped down off the rail, and got a vigorous, and welcome brushing. He sounded like an outboard motor with a leaky exhaust manifold.

Is Curly an indoor kitty or can he explore?

I like the composition of his profile and the pine(?) behind him.

Whatta kitty!

ellroon -- He's 100% indoor. The 3rd floor balcony is his only exposure to the outdoors. My vet says it isn't at all safe for kitties outside in metro Nashville -- too many strays, and infectious diseases such as FIV.

Do you give him old boxes to hide in? How do you keep him entertained? Does he try to get out?

ellroon -- He makes no effort to escape. He's been on the front landing exactly once, and he made no effort to run off. I was talking in the doorway with a neighbor, and Curly just wanted to explore. I just scooped him up, and took him back inside, no hassles.

Curly's entertained by the stuffed gifts that Atriots have sent him (pg's bird, sittenpretty's bunny, now used in "tetherbunny"), as well as paper grocery sacks, a catnip sock, the laser pointer, and of course, spending time on the balcony. He also likes a good game of peek-a-boo with Dad, hiding around a corner from him. There are videos of almost all our playtime activities...

Tabby cats! Irresitible!! I have this theory that they're alien invaders, but so what... I now have 2 male tabby kittens with I think a lot of "Curlyness" - he is truly just so beautiful....
