The Prints Of Tide

I've recently been re-watching The Sopranos, thanks to the Nashville Public Library, and in (I believe) the Season Five opening episode, after watching a snippet of The Prince of Tides on TV with his girlfriend, Tony sends Dr. Malfi a basket of goodies, along with a bottle of detergent, with a note from "... Your Prince of Tide."

Now, after reading with some interest in the past week or so about the NRSC "firewall strategy," wherein the NRSC was pulling back from Senate races all over the country to concentrate $30 million into the TN, OH and MO races, I found the following bit of news quite interesting:
After Weeks Of Trying To Resuscitate Corker's Sagging Campaign, The National Republican Senatorial Committee Will Stop Running TV Ads This Week

After weeks of trying to resuscitate the sagging Corker campaign, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) will stop running TV ads for Bob Corker on October 19. Contrary to a Corker campaign release from earlier today, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) will be up with ads on behalf of Harold Ford Jr. through Election Day, and has more advertising time reserved in Tennessee than the national GOP does.
Is the tide truly turning? Stay tuned, folx.

Thanks for the plug. I broke my visitation record today, mostly due to all the haloscan traffic...

So, Jeffraham, thanks... keep me posted if I can help move some traffic your way.

Matt -- Glad I could help, but yours was the only source (other than the DSCC link you provided) I could find on the story. As for the traffic... yeah, I'm a regular at the crack den, so pimping a post there tends to draw 'em in. :)
