Nashville is a groovy li'l sea of blue-purple surrounded by fairly red counties. It's a hip destination -- ask anyone who's visited. Lots to do and see, and not all of it's about country music -- not by a long shot. Museums, libraries, a new world-class symphony music center... and the nightlife is top-notch, too. The parks are very nice, the people generally nicer than that. :) Moving here was one of the best things I ever did, IMO.

I should be able to swing this! I read about Cafe Coco this weekend and would have been into it, but had out-of-town visitors so it was not to be, alas.
But this might just work for me! Especially if you can manage to get John H there again -- one of my favorite up-the-street neighbors. :)

About eight weeks.
I'm not athletic and I have no sense of direction.
I'm afraid I'll end up in Pulaski or Oxford, Miss or some other place where the likes of me will not be taken kindly too.
JP, I plan on being there, unless family priorities take over. If I come, I hope to bring Charlie Fenton. He's the owner of the veggie restaurant on Second Avenue, and he spent time in Louisiana in the 60's working on civil rights.
