I've got these tiny, watery blisters popping up on the sides of many of my fingers (this is a fuzzy shot of my right ring finger). I get a few of these every couple of months, and I even thought at one time it might be herpes (the doc sez "no," and so does the herpes test). Now, I have lots of them, on most of my fingers! They don't itch or hurt unless I pick one open, but WTF izzit?! And how do I make it stop?!?
Yeah, fuzzy shot, I know -- can't see the LCD in direct sunlight (where I took the photo), and using the flash indoors so overpowered the scene that the details were lost, so...

Yeah, that sounds like an allergic reaction to me. I get that very same kind of rash if I touch certain plants (so I don't touch 'em!)
Hmm, on most of your fingers -- you've been wearing new gloves when riding the scooter, right? If they're machine washable, turn 'em inside out & run 'em through the washing machine.
And you might try Benadryl cream on the spots just to help them go away.
Try some Neosporin and I guess that would mean a bandaid, too, just so you keep it on the blisters and not on everything else. Neosporin is a wonder drug.
left rev. -- Cleaners? What's that? :)
Seriously, the only thang that's changed since this last outbreak are the occasional used of the gloves that grandefille sent me... I'll try washing them, and see if that helps. But I suspect there's something else going on, as this happens, to a lesser degree, several times a year. That's why I thought maybe it was herpes, 'cause it seems to happen during times of stress, etc. But the doc's tests came back negative when I insisted he test me for all kinds of li'l nasties (3+ years ago), so I'm still puzzled. When I have an allergic reaction to pet allergens (contact dermatitis), I just get redness, itching and welts -- this is BLISTERS, totally painless, but annoying. I don't suspect an allergen, but I've been known to be wrong, especially in election years. ;)

There had been apple juice spilled earlier in the evening, and the kitten was not pleased at being used as a towel.
Haw! HI-larious! :) Poor, poor kitty.

First the disclaimer; I am not a doctor.
However have had those same symptoms for years until I quit smoking about six months ago. Still a few, but far fewer. So that may be an angle to pursue. I did ask a dermatologist once as I had made the mistake of draining them once and that was a mistake as they became very inflamed and itchy. She said it could be an auto-immune disease symptom as she had ruled out contact-dermatitis.
Now the scary part. It may be coincidence, but at the same time I quit smoking I had previously came down with type II diabetes and pancreatitis. The 'ol pancreas just quit doing its job. At the same time the little blisters have largely gone away. Any correlation? Who knows. Certainly not my MDs as they can't even tell me why the pancreas refuses to produce insulin now. They are not exactly worried about the blisters I used to get.
You certainly did the right thing in getting it checked and yeah it probably is contact dermatitis, but in my case it sure is curious.
