Curly? Meet LarryElvis!

I dunno about this, Dad!

I mean... it's a kitten!

Look at him, walking around, like he owns the place! This is MY condo!

Can you see the little raw spot on his nose where he got swatted at the shelter? It's pretty recent. He keeps licking it, and sneezing.

Hey, great! You've got cable! Only basic? That suxx0rz.

Awww Jeffraham he's so cute! How didja get him home--on the scooter? I've had a few siamese kitties in my life. Be prepared for ooddles of personality and adulation. Siamese kitties really fixate and lurve their humans.

Yay! You two made it home all right. I was worried.

It's going to be an interesting couple of days for you, JP, but I have feeling this is going to work out just fine.

LarryElvis' big sister Xena is sleeping on my bed.

You're going to love having a part (or full) Siamese cat, especially when LarryElvis gets warmed up. Siamese cats are real talkers.

Just promise me you'll get him fixed early so he doesn't turn into a tubby LarryElvis.

Plum P -- No hissing, but Curly's about half-puffed up a couple of times.

And, he's pissed at me. Or acts it. He won't come around for a pet if The Kid's in the room.

After seeing some of the comments above, I begin to realize the adoration my Keiki gave me is one of the Siamese traits. It is really awe-inspiring. I had my boy for almost 18 years. Loved him like a baby, took vacation time when he died and drove around aimlessly, crying buckets.

Just like you, Jeff, I turned out to be VERY allergic to him (didn't know, until after he died, that I was allergic to cats, which was why I always had to use an inhaler and had asthma). I had a doctor for about 15 years who didn't believe in allergists. After I ended up in the hospital, they advised me to get a pulmonary specialist, who finally sent me to an allergist. Had to take up all the carpeting that still had the dander in it from Keiki's time with me -- lived in the same apartment all that time, too.

Hope you can handle the allergy.
