More Geeky, Freaky WiFi SciFi

One sweet, unintended benefit of the Belkin WiFi phone is that it works as a handy network sniffer. The display you see here is the list of available networks from where I sit in my living room.

Neat-o, eh?

You can drill down into each, and even see what the encryption protocol is for the secured nets.

So, anytime I'm out, and want to scan for networks, no need to worry about the notebook. Just whip this out, and sniff for signal.
