That's some optical illusion Curly's engaging in!

I mean, I know he's not that pudgy...

Grrr, hiss hiss, and a spit or two

Dave -- 16lbs. is a LOT of cat. Of course, there's a lot of loose belly skin there that hangs over, too. :)

Barry -- Dood!

My wife likes dogs, not cats. I'd like a Siamese, they're beautiful.

GeorgeM -- I love dogs. I just don't have a living situation that would be a good match for a dog. Cats don't so much mind being confined and humanless for many hours every day... and now that I have both guys, they entertain one another. Of course, they're almost dog-like in their greetings when I get home... which cracks me up, but these are pretty awesome cats.

He doesn't seem that porky when he's up and about.

My parents had a tabby named Carlos, who, at his height, weighed in about 16 lbs. But he was solidly packed!

Dave -- He's a big boy. Maybe not exactly "well-proportioned," but big, anyway. His paws are nearly 1.5" across, and he's about 11" tall at the shoulder, standing, relaxed. That's not freakishly large for a healthy, neutered male tabby, but it's probably in the top 20%.

LE is a sleek little guy, isn't he. I don't know how thay can pretzel themselves into such contortions.

my cat stretches into a "c" shape. then rolls left to right, left to right, for minutes at a time. wonder what it means.
