LE - at first I thought he was getting ready to yawn until I read your caption, then I remembered how my two Siamesers sounded -- they were pretty vocal, too. Unfortunately Siamese sounds are not the usual polite little meows of other cats. They can run chills up your spine with their yowls.
I love Siamese because they are such talkative cats for the most part. My mom has two siamese, one that will talk all day and the other one (the guy) is apparently content to let her do all the talking.

My big 17 pound black cat definitely has some Siamese blood.
He sounds just like a Siamese and he IS yappy.
