Hopefully, my many debtors will forgive this slight detour. Since sittenpretty had her camera stolen (along with her purse, all cash, credit cards, keys, ID, etc.) in D.C. a few weeks ago, I decided to leave her my Canon Powershot A410. Not a bad camera, but it wasn't the greatest at low-light photos, and I normally have very little available light on weekdays to take photos of my boys (she's got more windows to get good, brightly-lit snaps of her pooches and kittehs, heh). Of course, she didn't want me to be without a camera, so we went on a hunt, locally, for this camera, to no avail. Everyone was sold out of it.
I had pretty well decided on this as a replacement, since I knew the Canon brand to be rock-solid, high-quality goods, and believe it or not, this one cost $5 less, today, than the A410 did in December, 2005. So anyway, I ordered it from Dell (as I had the A410), as they had the very best price on it, and it should be home by the time I get home.
