VP Prediction

I didn't think so until tonight, but now I'm about 72% sure: Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the Democratic VP nominee.

Obama/Clinton will get more than 300 electoral votes in the general election, 11/4/2008.

UPDATE: Just to add, this will be announced on Wednesday, 8/27/2008, by Bill Clinton.

bartcop asks "is there anyone *more* qualified?" and I personally can't think of anybody. I like the idea.

I thought we debunked Hillary's electoral math a long time ago. She won traditionally red states in the primaries, while Obama won the "purple" states. Either of them would win the blue states in the general, but only Obama can get enough independents and Republicans in the purple states to win the electoral map. Hillary brings absolutely nothing in that regard. Sorry, the math just isn't there.

I could, however, see him picking her purely to campaign for him. But I don't see them getting along personally or complementing each other when it comes to governing.

This is a big longshot. 72%? Not likely. At best 10%?
