Healthy Analysis Or Tin Foil Hat?

What say the Great Nashville Gasoline Shortage of Ought-Eight isn't a blip, but a test?

If one is trying to suppress the voter turnout (hmm?), wouldn't strategic regional gas shortages and widespread outrageous fuel prices help the side trying to dampen the turnout?

Faaaaaak.

That's certainly a possibility. I hadn't thought of that.

Although it would likely hurt Republican voters as much as Democratic ones. And let's face it, Tennessee is a wash for McCain't.

Well, hear me out on this.

In macro, let's think of this as Ohio, Virginia or Colorado.

What if you were ABLE to deny gas deliveries to the blue metro areas in these states in the week leading up to Election Day?

Wouldn't you want to test out distribution scenarios that will lend plausibility to a very short-term shortage in those areas? SHOCK DOCTRINE, much?

Suspending a campaign isn't a big deal when you know how to steal it anyway? I've got my hat and I'm ready to wear it.
