Today's code is 75EA16. You can check the Redbox Blog every Wednesday in March for the new code.
I love Redbox. I have three within 3 miles of me, and even when you pay, it's only $1.09/night per DVD. Cheap! And, if you'll give up your SMS-capable cell number, they'll text you a code every Monday for a free one-night rental, too. Cain't beat it with a stick.

I have a quick question, who is 'YouSaidit.org'? Did I get riped off?
MVC -- No, that's me (and THANK YOU!). I would love to change that, but it's an incredible pain in the ass. I'd essentially have to recreate another account and go through all the verification bullshit again.

How big, physically, is a Redbox machine? Where do I go to find the details on operating the system--like who stocks it, who picks the selections, how much work it is for the store that hosts the device, who collects the money deposited and how often, what's the cost/payoff for somebody to install one, etc.
I would pitch the concept to my local grocer and/or gas station owner, those being 2 of the only 3 businesses in my local little town, but need details lest I sound like an ignorant toad.
xan -- I'd check Redbox's website for the deets, but really, I don't think the retailer has to do anything other than provide space for it. It's the size of a large soda vendor, with some ancillary display goodies (and since most are outside, a roof).
It doesn't take cash -- plastic, only.

xan -- At around 1:50-2:00 in this video, you can get a good look at a Redbox installation at my nearest McDonald's.

Thanx J, will check it out. Doubt if the grocer has space for anything, but the gas station might. This may be too small of a market for them to want to mess with, but who knows.
Am just doing this out of the goodness of my heart after all, having lost the attention span needed for movies some time back. :)
Thanks for the tip!
which movie did you pick? was it good?
anon -- I got Stone's W., which I really enjoyed more than I expected. I was annoyed by Stone's use of public quotes in fictional private settings (in the situation room, Dubya saying "can't get fooled again," for example), and there was a defect in the disc that caused much of the first scene with Stacey Keach to be unwatchable (repeated cleanings didn't fix it). Still, it was a decent flick. It focuses on Stone's thoughts about Dubya's imagined daddy issues, mainly.
