9:40 -- Internet fails after nearby lightning strike
10:35 -- Power goes out. Made coffee in an ingenious manner involving hot tap water, and the coffee maker's basket. ;)
4:03 -- Power restored, here. 36,000 NES customers still without power, which may not be fully restored until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Safe, dry, fine. Roads closed EVERYWHERE. Not goin' anywhere.

UPDATE: Here's an NES substation about two miles from my place. No wonder power was out!
