Tonya was so ecstatic, she and Tara came by the shop to show me her new ride: A 2007 (?) Yamaha Morphous. A bizarre Yamaha version of the Honda Helix, low-slung, Barcalounger-of-a-scoot. The rear really has a trunk, and looks somewhat like a small, two-wheeled Cadillac. Needs fins. ;)
The poor guy who brought this into the shop is fixin' to lose it on a mechanic's lien -- it's been there since 3/17, and the voicemail box for his phone has been consistently full, and he doesn't call back the shop's number that I leave on the "forward a number" option.
The 2T orange Stella is now the Official Scoot of
scootnashville.com. Ross is coming to pick this one up, tomorrow. So that makes him, Jason and J.T. All orange Stellas, all the time.
Chris flips me off. He's not afraid to be
seen riding (even) a (big) scooter; I get the feeling he'd rather there wasn't photographic evidence of it, though. ;) Maybe he's afraid his Harley buddies will give him a wedgie.
