Pet The Beast

All Curlys need lots of love, especially in the wee morning hours.

He didn't wake me up, though. He's very well behaved while I'm asleep.

No, I've been sleeping in 2-3 hour increments. I think I've got my schedule attuned to day shift, now. Maybe I'll get a call about a job!

Sure...I was just playing--thought "boid" sounded funny. Maybe it's the medicine I'm taking for my grossly infected cat bite. Ha.

pg -- Ouch! Are you serious?!

yes...several punctures in my forearm. Like many people, I am quite sensitive to cat saliva. Taking 2000mg of Cephalexin a day, but I think it needs drained again. Ugh. More than you wanted to know. My indoor cat escaped to the great outdoors of dogs and cars and I grabbed him--he didn't like that(and was scared by a couple mourning doves...)

pg -- Dang! Well, take care of yourself, dearheart. I'm sorry to hear that. It's the saliva which causes histamine response in humans. I'm actually quite allergic... the poor things' teeth and claws are very unhygenic, and bad for humans in general, but being allergic makes those wounds that much worse. On the odd times that Curly nicks me when we're playing, I have to wash the hell out of the scratch, and even then, there's a welt that lasts for hours.
