Curly At Dusk

Still bird watchin', as the chickens go home to roost. ;)

Oh, it's so awesome to know that I can get a loaner cat, so Curly doesn't have to be a loner cat. I was concerned about that, since he's used to having me home all day with him. I'm meeting with LarryElvis, at noon, tomorrow, and we'll see what it takes to get him home with me. Unfortunately, they wouldn't tell me what's wrong with MoeCracker, but she looks like a total sweetie puss. I'll find that out, tomorrow, I assume.

Jeff,

I tried to leave a comment a few minutes ago and got another screen entirely. This has happened every now and then -- my comment won't be accepted. This time it shows my Sandy-LA 90034 identity. The other time it mentioned something about google/blogger account and didn't show my name.

Anyway, it's puzzling.

I'm partial to the siamese kitty since I had two before and loved them so much.

Watched your DVD tonight with a friend -- we both laughed at Curly's antics and your commentary was just the right touch. Her black cat, Chumley, sat on the arm of the sofa pretending to ignore Curly. But I saw him stare intently every now and then, as if sizing up his competition.

What a great money-making idea, especially appealing for some of us who've checked in often to see how you and Curly have been fairing.

You've really stretched your creative boundaries, haven't you, keeping body and soul and Curly together? Good for you!

If you have a Blogger blog, and have posted during that browsing session, you're logged into Blogger, and your identity will be seen by any Blogger blog's comments. UNLESS you're on Beta, and visiting a non-Beta Blogger site, or vice-versa, I assume.

In that case, always copy your comments before hitting the "Publish" button, and then you'll be able to paste them into the blank window that follows.

Well, it's doing what I love to do (video editing, w/me as director!), so it was purely a labor of love. I first started selling them in spring of 2005, actually. I'll make more, once I pack the house with cats (see latest posts!).

Oh - that's a nice, nice shot, great pic!

Hope everything works out with the kitties, whichever one. My part Siamese have tended to have standoffish personalities, but not all of them. And poor little MoeCracker, hope she'll be OK.

Don't be worried if there's some inter-kitty hissing and tail-puffing -- or even smacking. But as soon as Curly realizes 1)Dad still loves him, 2) they won't eat up all his food, and 3) you can *play* with the little bastards, he'll start to come around.

Years ago, my senior kitty greeted his new sister with a mighty hiss -- now they spend several hours a day curled up together. And there's plenty of wrasslin' and rompin,' too. But be patient and allow several weeks for them all to settle in.

Ivytree -- Thanks; yeah, I know what to expect, but it's cat vs. kitten(s), in any case. I doubt Curly will be too freaked out. I think he'll enjoy the company!
