He seems to be weathering the changes with the introduction of LarryElvis well... when I woke up, he was in his usual place, asleep on the corner of the bed nearest my head. He woke up when I rolled over, stretched, and mewled his readiness to check out the Great Outdoors (via the balcony, of course).
LarryElvis was asleep in the floor of the bath closet. I shook out a little kibble for him, and put the bowl in the closet with him... Curly still wants to dominate the food access, so I'm trying to supervise L.E.'s feedings for now. L.E. never moved out of the closet this morning, not once, but he was purring and happy to see me.

Are you sure Curly is not doing a "Rumsfeld" to LarryElvis when you're out?

This "coming out of the closet" opens a lot of new - ahem--areas...
That pic of Curly is so "WE ARE OFFENDED, DAMMIT" that it cracks me up. But LarryE clearly knows the hierarchy already.
Does LarryE have a soft little nest in the closet? If not, throw one of your old shirts and a towel in there, too. He's not only making a den for himself to be secure in a kinda-scary new place, he's found a corner that he thinks won't offend The Boss. Because he knows he ought not offend The Boss at any cost. (Curly, that is. He knows The Dad isn't offended.)
Smooch Those Boys!
