Boldly parking where I should never go -- right in front of the Admin Building @ Peabody. :)
Directly in front of the Admin Building, across 21st Avenue, Medical Center East, and the Trauma Unit behind, w/heliport, for Vanderbilt Lifeflight trauma patient transport. The chopper's in the center of the photo, behind the tree limbs; you can make out the fins of the tail rotor guards.
I don't know what this building is in the heart of the Med Center, but it's going up quickly. When I left Thursday, the supports on the top were not there. Now they have forms going in for the concrete. UPDATE: Busy Mom sez this is for Radiology and Radiological Sciences.
First Floor of Peabody Library. Note four eMacs. Or whatever they're called. Macs... sheesh.

THEY ARE CALLED THE PERFECT COMPUTERS JP!

I can spank in French! ;)

shut up!
i-books work pretty well.
but don't think they can't have problems. 'specially if you slam 'em on the concrete. not that you would do that, i'm just say'n, it can happen.
Construction is for Radiology and Radiological Sciences.
iMacs, dood. Their biggest selling point to me is how nice it is to not have a big CPU to bump into or arrange around. Plus, if you get them a little monitor riser, you can store nice things under them, like sticky notes and candy dishes. aND CAT tReetz! (Hey, Harry, get off the keyboard!) I use one at work and at home, though I used PCs for 20+ years previous. I'm immediately intravenously dependent on whatever OS you put me on, really.
Hey, you mentioned the parking the other day; don't they just take it out of your check monthly, averting the lump-sum issue? Or will they not do that with temp-to-hires yet? Because, dude, when the kids come back, the ticket-writers will be out a-bootin'. They don't play.
