Vandyland!

This is between the John F. Kennedy Center and the Peabody Library, in a traffic island that is immaculately landscaped. I liked it, 'cause I'm a cat dude. El Gato Negro?

Someone left these funny looking lamps downstairs in the admin building...

The Iris Cafe, on the north end of the Peabody Library, very near the Black Cat.

The front entrance to the Peabody Library. On the opposite side is moto-cycle parkin'.

Walking south from Magnolia Circle towards my building, which this would be. Peabody Administration.

The wreath people have been here.

Next week will be really slow, so if the weather holds, I'll get out and about and do more extensive photojournaling of the entire campus. It's a neat place... big, too.

Methinks you may be living the dream...and that you already know that. ;)

Happy Holidays.

Chez BEZ -- Oh, hell. Wait until spring. :) My goodness, is this anywhere for a single 43-year old hetero guy to be working????

Vandy is a beautiful campus.

I'll bet Atrios is regretting "switching" to new version of blogger just now.

flg -- Atrios probably doesn't give a shit, unless he has to give some of that sweet ad mo-nay back, to be honest. ;) No, if anything, he regrets not having moved to Beta while the movin' to Beta was GOOD. All we Beta-shakers are golden, right now; it's the sluffers who waited until it was inflicted upon them that are fooked.

I managed to make it in here, at last. Thanks Jeffra, I don't know how long I'mgoing to last tonight. How flipping long do these moves take, anyway?

Hey, jp -

Thanks for the pics - brings back a lot of memories from my own Peabody days (1989-90). Probably not too many faculty left from my era, but if you ever meet or hear about Chuck Myers, tell him Jeff from the '90 M.Ed. class says hi. He'll probably remember. He was my advisor.

Enjoy the job and the scenery!

P.S. I'll be in Nashville Feb. 4-7 for a conference. Another Atriot meeting might be in order ... ;)

Sinfonian -- You really shouldn't announce that, since you'll have hoardes of thirsty people clamoring to get some of that Jeopardy! money washing their livers. :)

You've just set the date, my friend. We'll get it goin', ASAP.
