Well, from the practical side... I don't imagine too many people can get away with driving only 88 miles in one week. Roundtrip work commute = ~13 miles (~21km), and I've not had time to do anything other than go to work and the grocery store in the last two weeks. Okay, one short trip over to Target... maybe 4 miles, roundtrip. .
George -- Absolutely -- why not? The Aprilla Atlantic is a HUGE, Interstate-worthy scooter, comparable to the Yamaha Majesty or the Suzuki Burgmans (400 or 650; a lady I work with has the 650, and I park beside it every day!). The only thing is, I keep hearing noises that Aprilla is all but abandoning the U.S. market, making parts more difficult to get. .
Hate me now, Hummer drivers! No shit: 92mpg.
