First check-in with the 'tubes at the rest stop near Ft. Campbell, KY, via Verizon thingie (little thang to the right of the netbook).

Another early check-in at a McDonald's (free WiFi at every one I stopped at, btw). Harley dude gives me the stink-eye, not recognizing my vehicle as worthy. I return the favor. ;)

They really should make pre-service banjo music mandatory. I almost crapped my pants!

The "situation room" at a truck stop in western Kentucky. I love how out-of-sync the clocks are.

Land of my birth. This rest stop is one of the nicest I've ever seen... I even signed their visitor log, as they were begging to provide the legislature with a reason to continue funding them.
