I went for ice cream, which is stupid. I'm lactose-intolerant. Still, once a year, in the summer, I suffer for the cause!
Me: I'd like a whatever-whatever-yum, a large, please.
Sonic Gal: Okay. Is this your first time?
Me: Um... pardon me?
Sonic Gal: Is this your first time?
Me: Uh. Are you asking if I'm a virgin? I mean, I'm 45!
Sonic Gal: [laughs for a while] No -- I meant, "Have you had this, before?" If not, and you don't like it, I'll let you have something else.
Me: Oh. Well, no -- this is a new one on me, but I'll risk it.
Sonic Gal: [laughs] Okay! Your total is $3.27...

what flavour? Or flavor in your language.
Ali -- Something like "fried apple pie ice cream," or some such. It was damned tasty. Apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, whipped cream, old-fashioned sugar-cone bits and vanilla soft-serve.
Whoa! COMA.

Dayam, that does sound good! And me without a Sonic closer than 30 miles away (sob).
well on 2nd thought there might be one in McKenzie but that's still 20 miles. At nearly midnight. o well.
Actually in 9 yrs in TN i have never eaten at a Sonic. The SO who lived here years back swears it is vile beyond the ability of language to express, and he is not exactly an arugula-eating food snob. But next time I make a likker run to Paris I may have to sneak into the one there.
Xan -- They make some decent-tasting sugar-coated dairy turds. And onion rings (cardiac-in-a-bag). Other than that... nah. They're pretty awful, and not at all healthy.

I totally feel you on the lactose-intolerant but suffering for the cause thing. I should go have my virginity taken by one of those apple shakes soon--sounds yum.
lololol...that is the best blog title I have seen in awhile. You're giving Hutchmo a run for his money on that one! ;)
I wish my other-kind-of-first-time had offered me the same deal.
Man, merkins sure rule the junk food kingdom. *drools*
Tell him you hated it. I'll be right over for the replacement.
