Confession of an Addict

Yes. This is me, "field-stripping" a filtered cigarette butt, harvesting its remnants of tobacco into a "snack" baggie.

Money is tight, but I am addicted. I have a large supply of butts (I've been saving them for just such an occasion); enough to fill this bag, I'm sure.

I have a nice li'l pipe, designed for smoking other plant materials, but clean, legal, fresh.

It's a good thang, to Go Galt.  :)

That's some mighty economizing!
My depression raised parents would be impressed.

Dude - don't roll butts. You can get a can of Bugler or Kite for next to nothing and roll GOOD smokes instead of old stale stuff.

Another good Depression-era tip for saving money is to ditch the cans of aerosol shaving cream and get a mug and brush so you can use regular bar soap for shaving.

Do you ever think about--ahem--quitting? Using a patch or gum?
I'm concerned about your health, you know.
