The river's still very high, and it rains enough to keep it that way. We just had a quick storm pop up, throw down some serious rain, pea-sized hailstones (which were bouncing/blowing through the 3" opening in the balcony door at the rate of 1/second!), and more coming, later.
Looks like straight-line winds or lightning took out part of a tree in the complex.
About that backhoe: AT&T seems to be running new lines and equipment throughout the complex, and they have shit torn up, everywhere. I guess we might have a shot at DSL now, though.
