Ivy takes a "before" shot of filter #8 to compare to the "after" of filter #5 (results of which are the last photo in this post).

Here's my boss, way down inside filter #5, near the beginning of the cleaning process. He's spraying that magic stuff we used to clean the clarifiers on the walls in this shot. That magic stuff is like $2500/barrel.

That's an 8' stepladder that we lowered over the top with a rope. These puppies are quite deep (and I can't deal with heights!).

Those backwash troughs look brand new, now!  Good job, boss!
