Carvin H1 Prototype
I got this from Allan Holdsworth, at his home, while attending a birthday party for him, several years back. It's prototype #5 out of 11..

Back In The Day...
... I used to run this guy's official website ("official" striken, since that was a sore point for Allan at one time... not my intent to poke at that, of course). Man, I was at least 20lbs. heavier back then (August, 1997, I thunk).
No one's even nibbled at the Carvin H1 prototype that Allan gave me on the day this photo was snapped (photo by Chris Hoard, author of this book), AFAIKT. Now, I find myself hoping no one does, 'cause if I can figure out how to keep it, it'd be nice. Gruhn's makes one keep items on consignment a minimum of 90 days, though...
