Rest In Peace, Chris.
Chris Tucker, who passed on 6/14/2012. Very sorry to hear that he lost his battle with thyroid cancer. I really must build that DTV antenna for which he sent plans long ago.

Here's To Ya, Gene
I'm not going to eulogize my dad, here. I wasn't asked to, and I didn't know him for the last 20-odd years of his life. He died on 6/10/2012, and I learned of this last night.
He wasn't a bad Dad. He probably wasn't a very good Dad, either. Only one to a customer, so it's difficult (not to mention, pointless) to try to measure shit like that. I think he lived as he wished, and he probably did what he thought best for his families, but I'm not sure that outside materially providing for them that he really gave it -- or us -- all that much thought.
He didn't shy away from taking on the task of raising a 5- and a 13-year old as a single father when he and Mom divorced, though. For a guy who was on the road 4-5 days a week for work, that must've been tough. I haven't walked in those shoes, and I know I would come up short if I tried.
I'll have a shot of Old Forrester and a Camel unfiltered in his honor, tonight.
