Back in the day when I worried about kitty on the counter, I would start the water running in the sink and say menacingly 'kitty in the sink." Ramillies would jump off the counter. Eventually he would react to me saying "kitty in the sink" whenever he was venturing into forbidden territory.
Now that I'm more relaxed, Ollie just doesn't get up on counter or table tops and shows no interest in people food. Go figure.
